| Review | This album was the first release from Waterson:Carthy, the band. In it, the talents of all 3 come to the forefront, with a magical result. Liza still sings 'The Grey Cock' at many gigs, and is a favourite with many of her fans.
The album is very traditional, with a couple of original tunes, and very comprehensive sleeve notes by Martin. Adding to that, I don't think that any more words that I add will do it justice - it really is an album that you need to own. Traditional music at it's best. | |
