	To mark Refugee Week (16-23 June 2002) Radio 3 collected stories of refugee musicians from Birmingham, Leicester and London. Radio 3 was a partner for the Celebrating Sanctuary festival in London and a special project was commissioned featuring 'Eliza Carthy and the Celebrating Sanctuary All Stars'. As anyone who has had the privilage can agree to, Liza - in her many incarnations - is a wonder to see live. From the traditional Eliza Carthy sets, to guesting with long time mates the Chipolatas, to work with the family in Waterson:Carthy & performance of her own work in the Eliza Carthy Band, you're always guranteed a fantastic performance. We've realised that not all of you are on the folk club & tour circuit (as I'm sure many of you are on a different continent), so hopefully this resource can allow you to experience Liza live!
